The idea of governing border area towards Northeast is a component of the government of all the border areas of the country by the Qing dynasty.Its main contents include the following four aspects:“great unity”,“govern according to custom”,“divide and rule”,and“guard against enemies inside and out of the country”.The idea is a succession and development of traditional Chinese idea of governing border area,and presented theoretical foundation for the realization of the stability and development in border areas.
