Abstract
In the teaching of college English,the preference over listening and speaking is favorable for stimulating students' interests and promoting teaching effects.Practice shows that in listening,students with good foundation promote obviously,while students who are weak in listening promote less obviously;in speaking,students who are weak improve quickly,while students with good foundation,exempt from the influence of teaching methods,also improve quickly.
