Abstract
Strategies or policies of college entrance examination reform results somewhat from the value choice. Since the founding of PRC (People's Republic of China) in 1949, and equity has been its core value of college entrance examination policies. And emphasis of the value orientation has also shifted from efficiency of exam itself to talents selection process; from the doctrine of equality in higher education to principle of equality in discrepancy. In light of China's social, economic, and educational status quo, the policies of college entrance examination reforms in the future should concern more about the individual development, in order that college entrance examination can change its function from adaptation to selection, the contents of it can focus more on overall improvement, and the enrollment forms, based on one single system, can be more diversified.
