Harm Characteristics and Control of Dacus (Bactrocera) dorsalis (Hendel)

Abstract
Dacus(Bactrocera) dorsalis(Hendel) was one of the main pests of Mangifera indica during maturation period. The life cycle and harm characteristics of Dacus(Bactrocera) dorsalis(Hendel) was studied through 2 years'systematic observation.Occurred 6 generations per year, the two occurrence climax period within one year were the last ten-day of April and the beginning of July to the beginning of August respectively. Larvae feed themselves with sarcocarp, the adults lay eggs under the peel of mature fruit.
