Enlightenment of Autonomous Learning Using College English Teaching Materials

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of foreign language and several college English teaching materials, this article explores how to use teaching materials during the college English teaching process so as to cultivate students' abilities in learning. The purpose is to promote the reforming process of college English teaching so that eventually the effective use of teaching material is generated in the new autonomous learning - the centered teaching model.
