Abstract
The anti-crease finishing process for silk fabric with glyoxal was studied. The effects of glyoxal dosage, additive dosage, catalyst dosage, curing temperature and time on the wrinkle recovery angle, tensile strength retention and whiteness were discussed. The optimized conditions were found by orthogonal experiments as glyoxal 35 g /L,the molar ratio of glycol to glyoxal at 1∶1,MgCl2?6H2O 10 g/L,formic acid 2 %(owb),curing at 120 ℃ for 2 min.
