Abstract
By using the testing system MTS815 with hydro-electrical servo controllers, the 18 marble specimens have been tested respectively under six different confining pressures; and the changing condition of dilatancy force and volumetric strain in the whole stress-strain process has been obtained. According to the analysis of results obtained in tests, the changing law of rock strength, dilatancy force and volumetric strain with change of confining pressure has been discovered. The mechanism of surrounding rocks?large deformation of high-stress roadways and the interactive relation of support and surrounding rocks may be brought to light.
