Clinical Observation of Zhizigancaochi Decoction on Heat Stagnated in Liver and Stomache of Reflux Esophagitis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Zhizigancaochi Decoction in treatment of heat stagnated in liver and stomache of Reflux Esophagitis. Methods 90 cases with Reflux Esophagitis were randomly divided into treatment group( n = 45) who were given Zhizigancaochi Decoction for eight weeks,and control group( n = 45) who were given famotidine for eight weeks. Changes of clinical symptoms and signs of patients were also observed,undergoing gastroscopy examination. Analyzing the variables through statistical software. Discontinued treatment for three momth,acqure the station of recur. Results Treatment group total efficacy was 91. 1% and recurrence rate for 3 month were 11. 54%;the control group total efficacy was 75. 56%,and recurrence rate for 3 month were 37. 50%. Treatment group total efficacy and recurrence rate were higher than the control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Using Zhizigancaochi Decoction to treat Reflux Esophagitis, could improve the general condition and symptom,reduce the inflammation of esophageal mucosa. Zhizigancaochi Decoction has good effect and low recurrence rate.
