Clinical Observation of Modified Liumo Decoction Treating Reflux Esophagitis

Abstract

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Modified Liumo Decoction in the treatment of reflux esophagitis(RE).Methods:88 subjects were radomized divided into two groups:treatment group in which 45 cases were treated by Modified Liumo Decoction and control group in which 43 cases were treate with western medicine with a course of eight weeks.The clinical efficacy,endoscopic results and symptom scores were observed before and after treatments.Results:The total effective rate was 95.56% in the treatment group and 93.02% in the control group with no difference(P0.05).After treatments,the symptom scores and total score were reduced more significantly in the treatment group than than in the control group(P0.05).The total effective rate for endoscopic results was 84.44% in the treatment group and 88.37% in the control group,with no difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Modified Liumo Decoction has positive effects on reflux esophagitis.
