Development trends and strategic study of coal chemical industry in China

Abstract
Coal chemical industry is regaining the attentions with the increase of the global crude oil price at the beginning of 21st century.However,capacity surplus appears in the traditional coal chemical industry because of overheated investment.Nowadays,the traditional coal chemical industry is trying to be transformed into a new one in China.The current status and development trends of coal chemical industry in China are analyzed in this study.Some guiding advises are given in combination with the development direction of the industry.
