Comparison of the efficacy between insulin aspart and prompt insulin with continuous subcutaneous insulin infnsion(CSII) in type 2 diabetics

Objective:To compare the efficacy and safety between insulin aspart and prompt insulin with continuous subcutaneous insulin infnsion(CSⅡ) in type 2 diabetics.Methods:191 and 216 patients were treated with insulin aspart and prompt insulin by CSII,respectively.To compare Pre-Tx and Post-Tx FPG,average PG,FC-P,2hC-P,glucose-targeted time and insulin dosage.Results:After the treatment,insulin aspart group was as effective as prompt insulin group in the parameters of the above glucose and C-peptide(all P0.05).The average duration of treatment and hypoglycemia incidence showed no obvious difference between two groups(P0.05) but the insulin does and cost of hospitalization were markedly decreased in insulin aspart group(P0.05).Conclusion:Insulin aspart with CSⅡ treatment for type 2 diabetes effect is effectively and more economical.
