Abstract

Objective To explore the time skill of treating traumatic cataract with broken posterior capsule.Methods The phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation in twenty eight eyes with traumatic cataract with broken posterior capsule through a scleral tunnel incision.Results Vitreous loss occured in four eyes during operation.After operation corrected visual acuity in three eyes was below 0.1,in nine eyes was 0.1～0.4,and in sixteen eyes was over 0.5.The intraocular lens in bags was seventeen eyes and in sulcus was eleven eyes.In four eyes have exudation on IOL after operation,one eye len dislocation .Conclusions The phacoemulsification intraocular lens implantation could be used to treat traumatic cataract with broken posterior capsule.
