Abstract
Chinese artistic studies are a big system due to China’s long history of art, various artistic categories, complex artistic systems and splendid achievements in art. All these demand the research on the level of scientific studies. In this sense, the construction of Chinese artistic studies as a disciplinary system can be regarded as the great systems engineering.
