Abstract
This paper analyzed the hazards of floodplain and villages collapsing into the river caused by abnormal river regime,the Yellow River dike were lashed for abnormal river regime had been stated as well. Several management measures of malformed regime of the Lower Yellow River which based on the conditions of incoming water and sediment and the river boundary conditions were proposed. The results show that: a) observation and research of malformed regime should be strengthened; b) the arrangement of river works should be considered carefully; c) River training works should be improved promptly; d) the adaptive structure of river works should be applied; e) the project of dredge diversion should be combined organically; f) applying the strictest rivermangement.
