The Rationale and Means of Main Function Division at Provincial Level

The 11th Five-Year plan outlines that it is necessary to be clear about the functions of different regions.First of all,this article analyzs each kind of main function division basic characteristics,the premises and the basic region units.Then,from existing development density,regional carrying capacity,potential development capacity,this article analyzs method of state space,relative carrying capacity of resources and environment and the evaluating method of the regional development potential applied in the dividing region by main function.Thus at provincial level the main body function is clear,the development guidance is clear about,the development order standard,the development intensity is suitable,the population,economy,resources and environment coordinates spatial development pattern will gradually form.
