Abstract

Objective To investigate the significance of the serum level of high-sensiticity C-reactive pro-tein(hs-CRP)in patients with coronary artery diseases(CAD).Methods110 cases patients diagnosed with CAD by coronary angiography were divided into three groups:stable angina(40 cases),unsta-ble angina(58 cases)and acute myocardial infarction(AMI,12 cases).18 cases with normal angiography were treaed as the control. All the samples were collected to measure the serum levels of hs-CRP.The serum levels of hs-CRP were compared among each group.ResultsThe serum leves of hs-CRP.in patients with CAD were significantly higher than those control[(0.58±0.27)mg/L),P0.001].The serum level of hs-CRP in unstable angina group[(7.78±5.93)mg/L]was significantly higher than those in stable angina group[(5.46±10.7)mg/L,P0.001].And the serum level of hs-CRP in AMI group[(32.75±22.12)mg/L]was significantly higher than the above two guoups,P0.001.ConclusionThere is a close relationship between serum level of hs-CRP and the severity of coronary disease.
