Investigation on the demand for health care service of elderly women in the minority area

Objective:To survey the health care service requirement of elderly women in the minority area,and to provide reference for the development of community health service.Methods:Cluster random sampling was used to choose the survey targets,and household survey was conducted by self-designed questionnaires.Results:The investigation showed that 29.5% of the elderly women who felt mild diseases went to community health service center or street health service center,90.5% who suddenly arose serious illness went to hospital or emergency center in time,most of the elderly women hoped to get self-help,health education,etc.But a few of them wanted these services provided by community health service.Conclusion:The elderly women in the minority area have high requirement of health care service,however not enough to know the community health service,all varieties of health care services should be provided by the community health service center.
