Abstract

The corrosion behavior of Cu-Cr alloy in NaOH solution had been studied by means of Metallograph、XRD、SEM/EDX and electrochemical method. The results show that the main corrosion product is CuO、Cu2O and oxide of chromium. Cu is easier subject to corrosion than Cr. When the temperature is at 20℃ , and anode is polarized, Cu-Cr alloy is passivated.
