Abstract

The corrosion behavior of Cu-Cr alloy in 3.5% NaCl solution is studied by means of metallography,XRD,SEM/EDX and electrochemical methods. The results show that the main corrosion products are CuO,Cu_2O and oxide of chromium. The higher the temperature, the faster the corrosion. When the temperature is at 20℃ and the anode is polarized, and Cu-Cr alloy is passivated, the passivation rate tends to be slower with the temperature increase.
