Abstract

Objective Study the relationship of serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and C-reactive protein(CRP) with acute coronary syndrome(ACS).Methods Selected 42 cases of ACS patients and 27 cases of SAP patients to contrasted 25 cases of healthy people.Assay the concentrations of serum MMP-9 by ELISA,and the concentration of CRP were detected by immunoturbidimetry.Results The concentration of MMP-9 and CRP in ACS group was(50.64 ± 7.68) ng/ml and(10.24 ± 3.47) mg/L,that were much higher than the SAP and normal group,the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),but the concentration of MMP-9 and CRP in SAP group compared to that in normal group was no statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The serum matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9) and C-reactive protein(CRP) of acute coronary syndrome patients was increased significantly.
