Treatments to Pregnancy after Cesarean Section

Objective To compare the treatments of pregnancy after cesarean section,and discuss the feasibility and precautions of vaginal delivery.Methods 220 cases of pregnant women who accepted cesarean section last time from Chongqing Seventh People′s Hospital during Jan.2004 and Dec.2011 were selected,60 cases fit the conditions of trial labor were vaginal delivery group,160 cases who were not fit for or disagreed to vaginal delivery received Cesarean section(160 cases).60 cases of vaginal delivery,160 cases of Cesarean section for the first time pregnancy of the same period were selected as controls,the results of mother and child were compared.Results There were no statistically significant difference in intrapartum hemorrhage,birth process,neonatal Apgar score and neonatal asphyxia between the vaginal delivery after Cesarean section group and first time pregnancy vaginal delivery group(P0.05).Intrapartum hemorrhage,operation time,postoperative infection rate,and length of hospital stay of the second time Cesarean section group were higher than the first Cesarean section delivery group(P0.05).Conclusion Eliminating the vaginal delivery contraindications,virginal delivery can be selected for pregnancy after Cesarean section.
