Abstract
The small town planning is more importance to the small town development. The small town master plan revision is the same so. Taking for example the master plan revision of Beilonggang township of Yandu-Distict, Yancheng in Jiangsu Province, this paper deeply analysis the main problems of the small town master plan revision. Based on the present issues, the paper proposes some essential countermeasures and method for the small town master plan revision including conforming to the development of the times, adjustment the small town positioning, designing the development objectives in phases,determining the scale of population and land use, mining the small town landscape features, protecting of the small town natural-human eco-environment.
