Abstract

Objective To investigate the impact of medical nutrition therapy(MNT)in gestational abnormal glucose metabolism on the pregnancy outcomes. Methods Retrospectively analyzed 104 pregnant women suffering gestational glucose metabolism abnormality.58 women who received MNT was set as the observation group, the other 46 cases received diet control as control group. The blood glucose control and the pregnancy outcome were compared in two groups. Results The standard rates of observation group's blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin reached 89.65% and 96.55%,while those of the control group were 69.57% and 82.61% respectively, with significant differences between the two groups(P0.05).The general incidence of complications in mothers and babies of the observation group was 16.07%,while the control group was 56.52%,with statistical differences between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion MNT is effective in controlling the blood glucose and improving the pregnancy outcome of gestational abnormal glucose metabolism sufferers.
