A Decentralized Replica Location Method Based on Locality

Abstract

A new decentralized replica location method based on locality in data grid is proposed. In this method replica location index nodes are partitioned by domain name or similar and replica location index information are spread on them . Meanwhile it employs replica location nodes to support local query for local replicas. It can achieve good locality and ease of implementation.
