Abstract
[Objective] To study the treatment of mechanical ventilation to serious bronchial asthma. [Methods] 42 cases of serious bronchial asthma were cured by controlling low ventilation and comprehensive treatment. Arterial blood gas and inspiratory pressure were monitored 6 hours before curing and after curing. [Results] 2 patients died because of cardiopulmonary arrest, 40 patients were cured and discharged. PaCO2 and inspiratory pressure 6 hours after curing were improved (P 0.05). PaO2 was obviously improved (P 0.01). [Conclusions] Early controlling low ventilation treating serious bronchial asthma is effective.
