Clinical Analysis on Small Incision Cataract Extraction and Intraocular Lens Implantation Combined with Trabeculectomy for Treatment of Glaucoma and Cataract

Objective: To explore clinical effect of small incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation combined with trabeculectomy for treatment of glaucoma with cataract.Method:71 cases of glaucoma and cataract patients were selected and divided into two groups randomly,34 cases in control group,and 37 cases in observation group,made them have comparability.Conventional incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation combined with trabeculectomy was adopted for the patients in the control group,and small incision operation was adopted for the patients in observation group.Two groups of patients were compared on postoperative visual acuity,intraocular astigmatism and the evaluation.Result: After 1 week,2 weeks,4 weeks,the patients in the observation group were significantly better than the control group,the degree of astigmatism was significantly less than that in the control group,the difference between the two groups was evident,with statistical significance(P 0.05);intraocular pressure of two groups of patients had little comparison of changes in difference,there was no statistical significance(P 0.05).Conclusion: Operating glaucoma and cataract patients with small incision cataract extraction and intraocular lens implantation combined with trabeculectomy have better vision based on no effects on intraocular pressure control.
