Curative Effect Observation of the Narrow Spectrum Ultraviolet with 0.005% Calcipotrial in the Treatment of Plaque Psoriasis Vulgaris

Objective:To evaluate the curative effect and safety of the narrow-band ultraviolet with 0.05% calcipotriol in the treatment of plaque psoriasis vulgaris.Methods:35 patients with the mild to moderate plaque psoriasis vulgaris were treated for 8 weeks with narrow-spectrum ultraviolet radiation three times a week,coupled with 0.005% calcipotriol twice daily topical,and assessed by the PASI evaluation points.Results:The curative effect of the treatment occurs two weeks later and increases over time.The treatment concludes with the cure rate of 40%,effective rate of 85.71%,and 4 cases of skin irritation accounting for 11.43%.Conclusion:Narrow-band ultraviolet 0.05% calcipotriol with plaque psoriasis vulgaris has the advantages of the rapid and satisfactory effect and little side effect.
