Effects of a feed additive made in several traditional Chinese medicine on immunity function of broilers

Abstract
Forty 1-day-old healthy AA broilers were selected,and divided randomly into four groups which were respectively feeded on basal diet+chlortetracycline,basal diet+ Chinese herbal compound feed additives 1,basal diet+ Chinese herbal compound feed additives 2,basal diet+ Chinese herbal compound feed additives 3,to study effect of different concentrations of Chinese herbal compound feed additives on the growth performance of 42-day-old broiler,we tested spleen lymphocyte proliferation index,immune organs and the content of IL-4 and IFN-γin serum.The results showed that the basal diet+ Chinese herbal compound feed additives 1 group had a significant effect on the growth performance,spleen lymphocyte proliferation index and the content of IL-4 in serum.It could effectively improve the immune regulation function of the broilers in the lymphocytes and cytokines.
