Abstract
The Mesona Chinensis Benth pigment extraction technique was optimized by single-factor and orthogonal experiment of L16(45). The results showed that the successive order of main effect factors on the extraction rate was the pH of extracting the particle size the temperature of extracting the extraction solvent. The optimum extraction condition was as follows: using the extraction water, the material particle size of 40 meshes, extraction temperature of 25 ℃,extraction time 90 min and pH 14. The extraction yield was 12.44 % in this condition. In addition, microwave or ultrasonic wave improved the pigment extraction greatly in this experiment.
