Abstract

To investigate the inhibitory effect of HM-3 on angiogenesis in vitro.HM-3 antiangiogenesis effect was evaluated by using chick chorioallantonic membrane, rats aortic rings and Matrigel assay.Chick chorioallantoic membrane and rats aortic rings tests demonstrated that HM-3 effectively inhibited angiogenesis in vitro, the peptide HM-3 at the dose of 0.05 μg revealed the best inhibitory effect on chick chorioallantoic membrane. The most obvious effect on angiogenesis inhibition was observed at dose of 8 μg/mL on rats aortic rings. The most obvious blocking effect on the differentiation of HUVECs into tube-like structures was observed in vitro when the concentration of HM-3 was 7-8 μg/mL.Therefore HM-3 distinguishedly inhibited angiagenesis formed in vitro.
