Abstract
An acid cellulase was used for the treatment of pure cotton,viscose,and Lyocell fabrics.By measuring the reducing sugar content in the solution,the factors affecting cellulase hydrolysis were studied.Based on trials,the results showed that the cellulase has optimum hydrolysis performance on viscose,and then on cotton,and lowest performance on Lyocell.In addition,the effects of preparation conditions,cellulase concentrations,mechanical agitation,and buffering system on hydrolysis were also investigated.The fabric after desizing,scouring and bleaching,featured higher cellulose hydrolysis,and also higher cellulose activity through mechanical agitation and with HAc-NaAc buffering system.
