Abstract

Objective To provide basis for the treatment of patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Methods 306 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease were confirmed by digital subtraction angiography(DSA) had cerebral artery stenosis. They were divided into young-aged group,middle-aged group and old-aged group. The characterization of distribution and the level of stenosis in three groups were analyzed. Results 128 patients were of intracranial stenosis only and 78 patients were extracranial stenosis only.142 patients were anterior circulation arteriostenosis only and 63 patients were posterior circulation arteriostenosis only.96 patients were of single stenosis and 210 patients were dual stenosis. The incidence of single stenosis in the old-aged group(23.28%) was lower than that in the middle-aged group(17.87%) and the young-aged group(7.36%),P0.01.The incidence of intracranial arteriostenosis in the young-aged group(83.62%) was higher than that in the middle-aged group(44.79%) and the old-aged group(28.30%),P0.01.The incidence of the anterior circulation arteriostenosis in the old-aged group(31.45%) was lower than that in the young-aged group(74.51%) and the middle-aged group(56.25%),P0.01.Conclusions The distribution of cerebral artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease varied with age, early intervention treatment may reduce incidence rate.
