Abstract

Compensation for mental damages is a vita theoretical problem and a major practical problem that must be solved as well. The great majority of legal consumers have wrong knowledge of such things as the properties of compensation for mental damages and the decisive factors of compensation amount, the application scope of compensation for mental damages and specific ways of compensation for mental damages. Theoretically clarifying the causes producing wrong knowledge and truly changing the wrong knowledge of compensation for mental damages is the key to correctly exercise the right to claim damages.
