Abstract
Objective To explore the causes and the prevention of the complication of phacoemulsification and IOL implantation. Methods Clinical observation and analysis were carried out on the main complications of 198 eyes of phacoemulsification. Results Main complication of Iris trauma was found in 37 eyes(18.69%);posterior capsule rupture in 19 eyes(11.51%);corneal endothelial edema in 27 eyes(16.3%);increased ocularpressure in 30 eyes(15.15%) and after-catract 26 eyes(13.13%).Conclusion Tthe key to the success for phacoemulsification is the practices surgical methods and skill surgeons must know the reasons and symptoms of common complications well before the operation. It can be effectively prevented and treated.
