Abstract
Hemoglobin oxygen saturation(SpO_2) were monitored continuously during ketamine anesthesia in 48 children 1~12 yearold.Transient hypoxemia(1 min) occurred in 62.5% of patients.The incidence of hypoxemia was lower in the group of in-travenous injection(47.62%)than the group of intramuscular injection(68.66%).The incidence was not related with dosesof ketamine,but related with age in the group of muscular injection.
