Abstract
To observe the effect of anesthesia by Sumianxin,or combined with ketamine on respiration and circulation system of dogs,20 healthy grown dogs were divided radamly in to two groups of 10 each.One group was induced with intramuscular injection as 0.1 mL/kg of Sumianxin,another group with intramuscular injection as 0.2 mL/kg of mixture of Sumianxin and ketamine(1∶2).The respiration rate(RR) before and after induction of these chemicals were observed respectively before surgery.Furthermore,SpO2,PETCO2,heart rate(HR),MAP and other data were monitored as well before surgery.The result showed that RR,SpO2,MAP and HR decreased remarkably 1 min after treatment of Sumianxin(P0.05).VE was also found to decrease(P0.01).However,all observed data hade no marked change before and after induction by Sumianxin together with ketamine(P0.05).
