Abstract
Objective:To analyze the prevalence of thyroid disease in the general population of Dalian City.Methods:Serum levels of TSH,FT3,FT4 in 150 subjects were detected in our hospital in 2009.Results:The overall prevalence of subclinical hypothyroidism was 7.06%,male and female were 4.3%,10.71%,there were significant differences between male and female(1.00:2.49).The prevalence of subclinical hyperthyroidism was 1.02%,it was significantly higher in females(1.57%) than in males(0.6%).Conclusion:The thyroid functional disorders are mainly in subclinical types and their incidences vary greatly in different age and sex groups in Dalian City.
