Abstract

Objective:To discuss the diagnostic value of transcranial color doppler for cerebral arterial vasospasm after clipping of intracranial aneurysms. Methods:The TCCS examinations were performed before neurosurgery operation and 3~7,10,14 days in the postoperative course in 31cases of intracranial aneurysms.Special attention was paid to the blood flow velocities of MCA and eICA.Results: The TCCS velocity of MCA increased once or twice after operation(P0.01).But the eICA velocity and the blood flow volume were reduced to different degree(P0.05).Conclusion:TCCS can diagnose cerebral arterial vasospasm and anterior cerebral blood flow volume in the postoperative course of intracranial aneurysms accurately and noninvasively.
