Abstract

The beneficiability test on the Cu-Au ore containing 3.03g/t Au and 3.52%Cu determines the scheme that gravity separation is adopted to recover coarse gold and for tailings the flotation of copper sulphide is adopted firstly and then the flotation of copper oxide. As a result, the product of coarse gold contains 915.5g/t with the recovery of 12.96%.At the grinding fineness of 90.44% passing 200 mesh, the copper sulphide concentrate of 27.23%Cu with a recovery of 54.85% and the copper oxide concentrate of 33.17%Cu with a recovery of 26.20% are obtained respectively. The total recovery of copper reaches 81.05% and the tailings only contain 0.74%Cu.Most of the gold in the tailings is into the copper sulphide concentrate containing 31.25g/t Au with the recovery of 73.12% and the total recovery of gold reaches 91.80%.
