Abstract

Lower Cretaceous Series in Liupanshan region belongs to continental fault depression basin deposit, developped fan, braided delta and lakes sedimentary system and sub-or micro-sedimentary system corresponding with it superimposed each other and it be able to trace in lateral. Through analysis of continental succession of strata, we think early Cretaceous Epoch stratum in Liupanshan region to consist of a perfect interior basin infill tertiary succession. On the basis of the feature of sedimentary system and its distributing model in space,in succession of strata, it could divide into regions of low water level, lake basin margin, spreading and shrinkage systems. It showed that whole course of the basin from beginning fill-lake-basin spreading and shrinking to die out.
