Influences of Population Distributionon the Social Economy in the Ming Dynasty

The population distribution had a close relation with the development of social economy in the Ming Dynasty. It was unbalanced examined from regions, and it experienced some changes in the early, middle and late Ming Dynasty. The condition of population distribution has both active and negative impact that embodied in the arrangement of social economy, adjustment of economic structure, development of towns, changes of labor and vocational structure, overpopulation in some areas and lack of resources.
