The Clinical Trial of Zishengukang Pill Treating Osteoporosis

Abstract

Objective:To study the effects of Zishengukang pill in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis.Methods:60 cases of osteoporosis were divided randomly into Chinese herb group and west drug control group.The parameters such as clinical curative effect,bone mineral density(BMD),bone ache and syndrome of Chineses medicine were observed.Results:Total effective rate of Zishengukang pill group(95.8%) were more significant than that of west drug control group(75.3%)(P0.01).On the effective rate of bone ache,Zishengukang pill group(92.5%) were more significant than that of west drug control group(73.3%)(P0.05).On the effect of syndrome of Chineses medicine,Zishengukang pill group(100%) were more significant than that of west drug control group(53.3%)(P0.01).There was no significantly difference between Zishengukang pill group and west drug control group on the results of BMD.Conclusion:Zishengukang pill possessed better effect on treating postmenopausal osteoporosis than west durg.
