Abstract

Osteopontin(OPN)is a secreted and adhesive glycophosphoprotein, which is widespread in various tissues and cells. It is over-expressed in various malignant tumors.Glioma is a poorly differentiated malignant tumor which can not be excised or killed by surgery. In recent years, with the development of molecular biology and the progress of glioma research,it is found that the incidence and development of glioma are related to OPN.
