Abstract

Wang Chong- jian was a scholar in the Capital city during the late Ming and early Qing periods,which enjoyed his family life. He wrote poems and essays in Qing Xiang Tang Shi Wen Ji to record some details of his home. By the records we can know he and his wives all followed the moral principles of that time in their everyday life,so they had harmonious life.Hope this article offers a useful reference for the family history research in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
