Abstract
Objective: A new graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometric method for direct determination of Pb and Mn in whole blood is studied in the paper. Methods: The blood sample after 11-fold dilution is treated with 0.05% Triton X-100 and0.1% NH4H2PO4 and 0.1% NH4NO3.The method is simple and rapid by calibration curve method. Results: The results show that recoveries of these microelements are between 92.5% to 108.0% and relative standard deviation less than 10%.Conclusion: The result of the method is accurate and satisfactory.
