The Analysis of Mistakes in English Writing and Writing Strategies for Non-English Majors

Abstract

In recent years,English teaching and study have been attached to great importance and vavious modernized teaching means have been adopted in English teaching.As a result,students' English has been greatly improved.We're happy to find that students are getting higher scores in CET Band 4,and they have made remarkable progress in listening,speaking,reading and writing.However,statistics show that non-English majors still have problems in writing,especially those in average colleges.This paper attempts to analyze the mistakes students made in their writing and aims to sound a warning note for all our students to pay more attention to improve their English writing.
