An Analysis of the Various Mistakes in College English Writing

There are three reasons for why English writing is a weak link for both English majors and non-English majors,namely,less emphasis on it,lack of writing practices and insufficiency of writing techniques and theories.Students' problems mainly lie in the choice of words and building of sentences.So development of students' writing ability depends much on the improvement of their wording and phrasing.Only through reading and reciting more beautiful articles,passages and sentences and practicing more can they improve their writing ability.Teacher's corrections and comments also contribute to students' writing ability.
