Abstract

Though having come up to the contemporary literary world in high prosperity in the form of experimental texts, new historical novels as a form of literary creation have been a vague concept up till now. This paper attempts, from historical subject matter and historical visual angle and historical consciousness, to approach the differences of new historical novels with traditional historical novels and with those revolutionary historical novels created during the seventeen-year period as well as approaching the newness of new historical novels so as to provide rationality and legality for their existence.
