Abstract
Polyaspartic acid derivatives with di-hydroxyl group(DHPAP)were synthesized with polysuccinimide(PSI)and diethanolamine(DEA)in water medium and the structure of products was characterized by FT-IR.The scale inhibition performance of DHPAP was studied and compared with polyaspartic acid derivatives with mono-hydroxyl(HPAP)and polyaspartic acid(PASP)at the different water quality conditions.The effects of Ca2+,PO3-4,temperature and pH of water system on the scale inhibition performance of polymers on Ca3(PO4)2 were studied.The result showed that DHPAP had excellent scale inhibition performance on Ca3(PO4)2,as its dosage was 16 mg·l-1,the scale inhibition rate reached up to 92.18%,while the scale inhibition rate of HPAP and PASP were 67.09% and 25.65%,respectively,which indicated that DHPAP had a better scale inhibition performance on Ca3(PO4)2 than HPAP and PASP.
