Abstract
The effects of dosage of polyaspartic acid(PASP) and by-product of paper making industry—sodium lignosulfonate(SLS) on the scale inhibition performance of CaCO3, CaSO4, CaSiO3 were studied through static test. The results showed that: when the compound mass concentration of PASP and SLS were 2.0 mg/L and 5.0 mg/L respectively, the combination had good scale inhibition performance. Besides, the combination was suitable for water system with high Ca2+ concentration and high pH value, and could stay in high-temperature water system for a long time. The said combination system reduced the PASP dosage, and had better scale inhibition performance than the only PASP system also.
